I have 71' and replacing the entire front end. Right now I am trying to remove the Center Link with Tie Rod end and Pitman Arm all as a unit so I can re-install the new parts.... but I can't get the Pitman Arm off. I am trying to get it off the Centerlink, rather than the Steering box... I hadn't thought about replaceing the Pitman Arm, but as I am doing everything else, I might as well. What' easiest? Separating from the Centerlink.... or the Steering box? And what's the best technique/tool? I attached a pic of what I am working with. Do you also advise to go ahead and replace the Pitman Arm since I am doing the full tear down?
