also gotta take into account where the engine is mounted in a Porsche as well as what is necessary to keep the insane amount of snap oversteer at a livable amount. Rear engined cars, especially high hp ones are trully insanely hard to drive. I dont like driving them and most of the time you put more and more rubber on the back end and it barely helps. Our cars are different beasts, so dont go comparing your Chevelle to a 911. If you want a neutral handling car you need a balanced front to rear tire combo. If you have too much front tire and too small rear you will oversteer. Too big in the back and not enough in the front and it will understeer. Balancing act comes with how much hp you have and what is necessary to put it to the ground. You can have 295's all the way around but if your spinning the rears all the time from too much power but otherwise it steers through a corner good then its time to get a wider rear tire. All Im saying is that you can overdo your tire size if handling is your main concern.
