I had a little tear in my eye yesterday as I purchased a 1971 Chevelle. My first car was a 1972 and I had it for 3 years...after redoing the engine to a 355 400hp building the trans and doing lots of other mods it was continued to be broken into...time and time again destroying the car in the process. I eventually sold it...6 years later here I am buying my dream car again. The Heavy Chevy has always been my favorite. Now with much more money to play with and alot of connections to finish it quickly. I cant wait to take delivery and start diggin into her!
350sbc, about 350hp with about 4000 miles on it....New TH400 trans with a lock up converter, B & M Ratchet Shifter, all brakes have been converted to disk, 12 bolt posi rear end, New radiator setup, Battery relocated to the trunk. All it needs is carpet, new front seats (currently has some newer nissan buckets...blah!) and im going to get a set of Weld Pro Star Wheels. Pulling this motor out, go through it and put her on the dyno to see what she makes...then I will sell it.
