Since this is the site that got me bit by the BBC bug, I thought I’d share my first BBC I ever built. Typical stroker really, but it’s mine, and I built it. Looking back, there are a few things I’d have done different, but what the heck, this one should work for a while. Yes, it’s a little overkill for a street car, some may call it too radical, ect ect….but, to each his own on what he’ll tolerate on the street, right? I collected parts for this engine for quite a long time. Eventually, it’ll go in my 72 Chevelle. Hopefully in the next year I can have it drivable. Won’t get dyno’d, but I’m hoping I got it to 650tq/650hp or maybe a tick more if I’m lucky.
I’d like to thank everyone that ever answered a question I had, and for everyone on this board that I read posts from, old and new, that helped me learn, and aspire to have the skill to build one of these awesome engines. I truly enjoyed working on this engine. Now I just need to get off my rear and get the rest of the car together.
