To everyone,

I think this thread should close, we have too many replies already.
To all who had kind words to say, thank you. Remember, I enjoy talking to you as much as you do me. If it was not for informative racers giving feedback, cam design would not keep advancing. I always want to hear how my "children" did at the track, it drives me to try to better last year's performances.
The UltraDynes were all 31/33/36 MI cams, with a few NRs that were 29 degrees.
I now do 28/31 degree cams, with the 31 degree cams using the same opening and closing rates of the 36 MI UltraDynes. My current Pro-Stock cams are 29 MI, and hold steady at 10,500 on Spintrons---The Spintron needs a stronger eletric motor to spin higher....
I now do all my grinding on Landis 3L CNC cam grinders, as they are more accurate than the older master-following cam grinders like the Berco or Van Norman. They also eliminate human error, which is always the biggest source of errors in any mech cam grinder.
Again, thanks for the kind words, they keep me going.

Final words from Harold's wife:

We considered Tim Goolsby a "loyal employee" during most of his time at Ultradyne,Inc. However, during the last year, it became evident that his loyalty was based more on his anticipation of our losing the company and his plan to "buy" the company through a friend of his. His behavior had become what might be described as "vampiric" as he gloatingly told the customers not to worry - that things would be straightened out as soon as he took over and he hovered over us in the last days. Now look at him! Selling the same old cams with the same old rhetoric he stole from Harold and no possibility of ever having new product because an Ultradyne cam NOT DESIGNED by HAROLD IS NOT AN ULTRADYNE.
Tim built his reputation on Harold's back. He never was involved in cam design.

Thanks for straightening a few things out.

Now I have a couple of questions since I don't have time to follow this board much and these might help someone else out.

I came on here today to find Harold and place an order.

1) Where is Harold making cams as of today 7/21/09.....and how can I reach him ? (so I can order a new cam today)

2) Where is this "Tim Goolsby" and what is the name of his cam company ?

3) Is Harold at the current Bullet/Ultradyne or is that Tim ?

Thanks,:)

Jim
