Chris, are you still running the UD/LUNATI 280/288 hydraulic cam in your 454? I was curious as to its rpm limits for best performance in a BB454. I realize you're running an automatic.

Yes,I'm still running the 280/288,and I'm very happy with it.
It pulls hard to 6000 rpms with no problem.

Chris, what's your thoughts on running the next higher hydraulic cam, the 302A8LUN (288/296) in a mild street BB454 with oval ports, 9.8 CR, TH400, B&M 2400, Qjet, headers, and Edelbrock RPM intake?

Charles,if I could do it again,I'd use the 288/296
Adding the 2.19/1.88 valves with that cam would really wake things up.
