Hi does any one know the torque spec's for a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 motor mounts to engine bolts. Also for flywheel and pressure plate.

Engine mounts - 20 to 30 lbs. ft. (AIM)
Flywheel to crank - 55-65 lbs. ft. (Chilton's Manual)
Clutch cover to crank - 35 lbs. ft. (http://www.boxwrench.net/specs/chevy_bb.htm)

Thanks for the info 25lb's is what my manual said I didnt believe it ! Sounds to low to me !!

To be honest I don't think I've ever used a torque wrench on engine motor mounts. I just snug them up with a 3/8" drive socket and little bit of Loctite.
