What is the proper way to lock out the timing, on a BBC HEI. I have been told many ways, want to find out the best way to do it. I do have a Davis vacuum advance lock out plate. Do I remove the advance weights and springs, or leave them in, and lock it out full advance? How to set the timing when completed, just set to 36 deg overall?
