Hi folks,
This is to help my mom. She's not super internet literate, but can do what she needs to do. She has Internet Explorer and also Outlook Express for e-mail.
The trouble she is having is if I send her an e-mail with a link to an external web site, the link is inactive and does nothing when clicked upon. She tells me it just sits there and will not do anything at all.
She also has a form of Norton anti-virus with a firewall. I told her to disable the firewall temporarily which did not help with the problem.
Over the phone we went through both internet explorer and also outlook express Tools menu's to compare settings. We found nothing different that could affect linking within e-mail.
Does anyone have any ideas why here e-mail would keep links from functioning? Any idea where to look next?
It's become a real problem as she just booked a vacation on expedia and needs to click a link within the e-mail to confirm and she can't do that as the links do not function.
Thanks for any help on this matter
Todd
