This process is unbelievable!!
After reading on here about the process, I had to check into local "galvanizers". I found a place about 4 miles from my shop. I called and spoke to the salesman, he suggested not even trying to clean the frame at all, "just remember to remove all the nuts and bolts, and the bushings from the control arms". I took it over last week, 12 pieces. Control arms front and rear, sway bars, trans crossmember and frame. I picked it up yesterday and can't get over the appearance. I would challenge anybody to tell the difference between my parts and brand new steel. I'm still in amazement, all this, which includes absolutely no grim cleaning by me, picking up parts that look brand new, and now the best part.........................total cost $159.00. It just doesn't make sense to use any other process, IMHO.
