Hey guys I Have been searching online to find out if my rear is a posi, when I bough the car I was told it had one(but you know that doesnt mean it does). So this is what I did I jacked up the back with the transmission in park and spun one tire the other tire spun in the oppisite direction. Dissapointed i went online and saw some guy say the tranny had to be in neutral to I did the test in neutral and the tries spun in the same direction which made me happy again, but I have no idea whats going on. I havent done any work on the rear so right now im clueless if there are other tests Send em my way because I am confused. Thanks

Hey I went searching and just see the same stuff, some say do it in park others say neutral. If I jack one side up and try spinning it will that tell me and if so which gear should I be in... and incase it wasnt clear in my first post when i say the wheels went "same direction" i meant when i turned the one foward the other also went foward

p.s. I also jacked it up, started it, and put it in drive both tires were spinning dont know if this means anything
