I just now found an old sheet of paper stuck to a piece of cardboard inside the bench seat in my 1970 Chevelle SS. It's 5 inches wide and 6 inches high, torn (not cut) at the top and bottom. There are four lines of information, handwritten in ink. Is this a build sheet? And can someone please decode the numbers? First line: -S90- (or perhaps it's -590-). Second line: 13637-795. Third line: AK1 A39 B22. Fourth line: M20 3741. I'm hoping one of these is the zone and dealer number, because I'm trying to find the car's original owner. Thanks! -- Jon

I don't reaaly know much about this, but someone posted a picture of one of this, I think. It's really more of a interior build sheet, if I'm correct. There a huge probability that I'm wrong. If your car is a four speed, then that m-20 probably represents your transmission, which would mean I really have no clue as to what I'm talking about.

I'm sure dale will come along and answer this for you. good luck, any documents you find are a bonus. Look on top of the gas tank, as that could be your best bet for a build sheet.
