Is it even possible to get rid of that gassy smell with a cam that has alot of overlap and what not? Mine is fairly mild it's a 286 Magnum Comp cam, its only 1/2" lift and 236@.050", but every time I drive some where I smell like a gas station! ;) I have tuned the living bejesus out of the motor and it run's just killer. I have a 3310 on top with 72 front jets, I have drilled the throttle blades in the front and I have it to where it makes max vaccum at a set idle speed which is like 850rpm's. The IMS's are @ 1.5 from seated and 1 from seated really makes it loose vacuum and run worse. It pulls a steady 9-10" in gear @ like 600rpm's. So the motor is very well tuned but I just cant get rid of the gassy smell. Im sure the rusty holes in my trunk arent helping, but is there ANY way to make a performance engine not stink?

Dang its not looking good heh. So what kinda exhaust do you guys have? Mine just stops about a foot before the rear end, no turn downs or nothing. I wonder if I can aim the pipes out behind the rear tires to stop the stench?
