I was sitting on the porch, contemplating the world, looking at the Nova and something just didn't look rght about the drivers side rear wheel. It wasn't centered in the wheel well.
So, grab a tape measure, check distance from the tire to the door opening on both sides, sure enough. Drivers side is 3/4" forward.
Crawl under the car, and I'll be damned, the rear end has moved. Haven't taken it apart yet, but it's clear the pin in my spacer block between the spring and housing has sheared off. After all these years.
I'm sure that wasn't helping traction any, especially since it was causing the CalTrac bar on that side to "self adjust".
