I need a full pan, or the front section to where it starts to curve up, and rear sections for my 71 El camino. I have seen a few for sale, but they say they need modifications to work on an El camino. Anyone know what you have to do to get them to fit? Where to get them? Ifs for the drivers side.

I needed rear pans for my 70 El Camino. I originally purchased the 68-72 rear pans from Goodmark. They would need trimming in the rear. After I saw a picture of the 64-67 pans, I exchanged them for the 64-67 pans and they fit perfectly.

I only live 20 minutes from Goodmark, so the exchange was no problem.

I got mine from the sponsor, Ground Up. You will need to get the 64-67 pans - I was skeptical, but they fit very well in my 72.

Thanks guys, I got the 64-67 pans from NPD today, they are fitting ok except in the right rear corner by the tunnel-the contour is not the same, the rear had to be trimmed down, and a few of the seams don't match. I should have them welded in tomorrow after some hammering. The NPD guy didn't know anything, I ordered front seat covers at the same time, and he asked me if I wanted the rear seat covers also?

Also, this pan has two bolt holes for a floor mounted gas pedal, like the 70 Z28's, was this an option with the higher HP cars?

Didn't have anything to do with HP...
'64-'67 Chevelles had the gas pedal mounted on the floor, also. Those holes are for the two studs that snap into the bottom of the pedal.
