Anybody else ever try it? http://www.rustbullet.com/

Used it on a pretty rusted 67 rear. Not bad. Only problem, it's silver. But you can overcoat with anything. It's UV stable so you can also leave it alone.

That little starter kit is more than enough to do an entire rear with the required 2 coats for $15.

I have used some of it. POR-15 has a silver POR that looks like it's the same exact stuff. We'll see how it holds up. I'm still in the middle of a restore.

On the rear end I alternated with the black and silver POR just for looks. I used the rust bullet in the trunk area that the trunk pan covers and a few others.

I can't find any local and have to pay shipping is the bad part. I can find POR locally at car shows/swap meets.

I got my boss to try POR-15. He did a few "test spots" on some bare steel stubs on the back of one of our boats. These stubs are welded to the deck, and aluminum uprights are bolted to them. He put the POR on in April '04, and didn't topcoat it. Used the silver. It's still there, and still not rusting. This gets a good diesel exhaust/salt spray/fresh water washdown on a daily basis. I'd say it's good.
