I sold my car. Actually I'm doing the deal in about 2 hours. Last night was a sad time but the guy made the offer I needed.
Now I'll be looking for another car. Preferably a mid to late 60's Chevy, Velle, Camaro or Nova, but open to suggestions. Just want a decent driver, something between 8 and 12 k. If anyone finds or knows of any you can pm or email me. BTW Im not leaving TC, and for those of you I was supposed to see at cruises and such this year stay in touch and let me know when and where you'll be and I'll still be there. Just maybe without a car.
Oh yeah, I took one last pic last night with the family, only my oldest daughter wasnt here so she wasnt in it. I'm the good lookin one in the back by the way! LOL;)

I know the heavy feeling you must have had inside. Been there, done that. It's one of those realities that hurts.
It's a gorgeous car and I'm sure anything you get to replace it will end up looking just as sharp!

Good looking? Isn't that stretching it a bit? :D sorry couldn't resist. Looks like your boy has surpassed you. Sorry to hear about the sale but you do what you have to. Great looking family, albeit but one(I'll let you guess which :D). Good luck with the next project. Pete

there seems to be some decent deals your way....

....sorry.. what am I missing? You had a car and.. you sold it .. now your gonna replace it? Then why did you sell it?
Sounds to me like he sold his chevelle, and is going to reinvest approx half of that money back into another car, and do whatever he wants or needs to do with the rest. Sounds like a very smart decision to me.

Sorry to see you sell that sweet 66, but at least you got what you needed out of it. Good luck on your next project

That's exactly it. I needed some money for family reasons and I was getting a little burnt out by trophy shows and thought I'd make my money let someone else enjoy a show car and I'd get something I could cruise in and not worry about every detail or driving in the rain. We decided we could get something later when the other 2 kids are grown, perhaps a 138 triple black 66, numbers and all. But for now we just want to stay a part of a great hobby where I've met many great friends through the years. Also my son is old enough to help with this one if I decide to go all the way again. Then it can be his.

What you need is a wagon...!

Seriously- once you stop laughing- they are less expensive to buy into and all the goodies bolt right on. Mine is fun.

(You could just buy mine- but it ain't cheap!)
I'm open to about anything. Not sure my boy would be into it tho.

I had to be tough to say goodby. But I understand the show-V-cruiser thing.. These cars were built to be driven and its tough to enjoy the ride when all your worried about is stone chips and the idiot on the cell phone in the other lane...

BTW.. If I had the $$$$ this one Bill posted would be my choice..
