Guys, thank you so much for all of your help. For all that may be interested in the out come. It's been acouple of weeks since we last talked. Here is what has happend. Put new oil pump in it with windage tray (loosing OP at high rpm) Checked bearings all set and no more OP drop outs. Installed Fuel pressure gauge inside car on cluster. Dropped a 950 holly blower carb on it, put 3" driven pully on it (instead of the 2.66). Ran it today. Fuel pressure is holding up to bottom of 3rd then drops from 7 to 3 psi @ 4200 then ****ed to 4th and 3 was all it had. Did not rev past 4200 because that was where it felt good to shift (power fall off)Boost went from 10 psi with 2.66 to solid 7 lbs with 3". Running on the road makes it tough to really hammer with traffic going both ways and also passed two cops parked. Yah, I got the eyeball but they know me and the car does have the HH symbols good guys too but I wont get away with that for too long. Also found crack in block (mother-!@!#$). Welding block but is 3 lb too low? Is that the prob? No valve float could be heard either.
No it is not
Any appreciable drop is not acceptable & this is especially so in a blown engine.
It means you are not keeping up with demand & leaning a blower engine is not in your best interest ;)

Also if you give a follow-up if you do not add it to the original thread it is a good idea to at least link to what you are talking about,, some of us miss a thread or two now & then :D
Here is your original one
