Somehow the ebay icon has become associated with my Team Chevelle url favorites in my Internet Explorer. The TC listings used to have a nifty little TC icon which helped me locate it on my long list of favorite websites. How do I find the TC icon file and re-associate it with my TC favorites lising? When I right click on the favorites listing and click the change icons button it only gives me a few basic choices and I've no idea how to find the TC icon to make it again have an association with the TC listing.

I've also no idea how the ebay logo got associated with the TC url!

Somehow your IE has corrupted itself. I don't work with IE, but the other browsers get the icon from the HTML code of the website automatically from a couple of lines of code called "favicon". IE should do it the same way, and if it has corrupted the favorites, maybe the easiest way to get it right again would be to delete all favorites that are related to what IE has corrupted and re-create them.
I'd try deleting both the TC and the Ebay favorites, killing IE, rebooting Windows, then starting over recreating them.

First they are called icons. They are very small pics. The reason why you lose it is because as you browse the web, the olders files get pushed out if the temp internet folder becomes full or if you delete them. First make a "icon files" folder in your documents folder, so you have a place to save them. Next, when the icon is showing up, search your hard drive for it, Click start, search, for files and folders. Under all or part of the file name, type *.ico This will bring up all the icons on your computer. Click and hold a icon you want to save and drag it to the icon folder you made. Now the icon is saved, and won't get deleted or pushed out. Next go to your favorite and right click, properites. Under web document click change icon, navigate to the icon folder you made, highlight the icon you want to use and click open. Now your favorite will always use that icon. Hope this helps
