If someone with a hollander interchange can help me, I would really appreciate it. I found a 1970 Impala Non A/C car with a heater core still in it at a junkyard. My question is are the interior side heater core boxes the same? I need the two small clips that goes inside the box next to the heater core, for my 1971 Chevelle. This info could save me a lot of work if they are indeed different parts, but if they are the same, I am going to go back to the yard.
Thanks,
J.D.

My Hollander says that heater core only fits 69-70 Chev. Pass. w/o integral AC and 75-76 Cadillac rear (75 series). However, that heater core and one for a 68-72 Chevelle are the same size 9-1/2H.x6-5/16W.x2. So if you are after the two clips that hold the heater core, you might be in luck.

Thanks again wayner66 for looking in your Hollander book! I went today to the pick-n-pull yard and not only did I get the two clips that hold in the heater core, I got an original Harrison Heater Core that appears to be in perfect shape!!
