Ok I am having a wierd noise comming from my engine. Its a 454 with req port heads, hyd roller cam (crower 01403LM in.563 ex.587) just changed to that a few weeks ago, also have 924 comp springs. The noise just started up today its seems like it is comming from the drivers side valve cover, sounds like clanking metal at 2000rpm and above, its not a steady noise just a sound like ball bearing in a can. I checked all the roller rockers and see no problems, Could it be that i didint get the cam sprocket bolts tightend down right and there comming out and hitting the timing cover? The noise is not there at idle but when i gas it its back.
