Guys, trying to match up a late model driveshaft to a 66-67 real axle and need that u joint that has the large and smaller caps. The NAPA folks tried to help but I am not sure if that combo was ever used as an OEM part on any car. Would anyone might know the number....thanks

When we put a 1957 Olds/Pontiac rear end in a 1957 Chevy we used a u-joint Oldsmobile used in 1958. See if your parts store can interchange this number. SKF UJ372.

Holy Moly, looking at that Denny link there is a bunch of combos available. A quick glance I THINK I am needing a 1.062 and a 1.125 diameter caps , but not sure the length needed. Will go measure up. Must be fairly popular as I got one once before at my NAPA store, the old dude just knew what I needed and the new guys have no clue...thanks

Mine is a Precision conversion u-joint p/n 348 it should be what you need.

Doesn't cost anything to have the NAPA guy bring both numbers to the counter for comparison.

Thanks 68Chevel, I will see if that works for me. I did bring home the one they had at NAPA [not correct] and they said they would go ahead and order other numbers Ujoints. Hopefully the 348 is what they ordered. Seems all the time getting stuff for our 50 plus year old cars is growing more difficult.
