Help Identify these heads

bbc rec port apear to be 219-188 valves open chamber alum. Buddy of mine has a chance to buy these and he doesn't know what they are worth, we THINK they are old school gm heads but we are not sure.
Castling no. 3919842 any help will be appreciated.

I have owned a couple of sets of the 074's and sold one set on ebay...never the ones you list though. Look the rocker stud area over very well...they are prone to breaking there (just in case you don't already know that) :)

These heads have bbeen raced and well used on bracket cars with up to 632 ci for the last 30+ years, guy can't even remember where he got them, he is wanting to sell them and doesn't want to get taken but also dosen't want to gouge anybody.

Heads have been hoged out,(ported) and two rocker stud towers have been repaired, looks to be a good repair, extra material added.

I knnow they're not worth 3 grand but they are worth more than 500, just trying to get an idea of what they might be worth.

If they are complete and useable $800-$1000 is pretty fair maybe even more. If they are bare and have been decked to death $500 may even be too high. Just remember that the 074 is the later style open chamber version and is much more common than the early 842. If they are useable I would jump on them for $800
