I have a muncie with the #'s of 3925660 and date code of P8K9L the other # is 189481676. I would appreciate any help you guys could give me.

The 660 main case was used 68-69.
The P8K9L doesn't quite fit (the L is the odd letter).
P=Passenger Muncie
8=1968 model car
K=Jul
9=day of month

I'm wondering if the L is actually a B that didn't get get fully stamped, or, if the 9 is really a 3 and the L is a 1, to make 31???

Can you take another real close look at the date code again.

I think you are correct that the L is probably a B thanks for your help and the suggestion.

Muncie always used 2 digits for day of the month, so the 9th day of the month would be P8K09.
Muncie didn't start using the A-B-C ratio code until late Oct.,early Nov. 1968 for 1969 model year cars, so anything starting P8XXX wouldn't have an A-B-C code...Hope this helps...Crash
