I've re-assembled the frame, suspension, and brake set up on my '64 SS. I'm at an indecision on which shocks would be best to use in my application and would greatly appreciate any input and experiences.
I have Global West fr.upper arms, taller spindle disc set up, GW fr & Rr springs, 1 1/8 Fr sway bar, no Rr sway bar (GW doesn't recommend), stock Rr upper and lower cont. arms (for now). Driving mainly street, some trips up Hwy 38 to Big Bear on twists and turns, occasional road coarse, want a good feel around town yet ability to firm up in the cornering.
Two shocks I'm considering are Edelbrock AIS ('bout $70ea) or adjustable Koni's offered by GW ('bout $100ea). $$ is not the factor, it's the ride/handling. Thanks in advance for your opinions.
