I am redoing my fuel system, and I'm running a 1/2" aluminum line from back to front. Somewhere in the middle, along the framerail, I am going to put an inline filter.
Now if the filter has -8AN male fittings, how can I connect this to the hardline. If I can put a 37* flare on the line, can I just use a regular flare nut (or whatever it's called
)? Or would I need somesort of adapter.
I know that they make adapters to go from a hardline to a braided steel line, but i need to go directly from the hardline to the AN fitting.
I wasnt to use the flares on the hardline so that in the future, i can unscrew them, and slide the nuts back on the line and pull the filter right out, without having to take the line out of the car.
Anyone got an idea?
