I ordered a couple parts on dec 11th, got a 3rd parts customer satisfaction survey but still havent received the parts. looked at my bank acct and they havent billed me either.
do they deduct the payment when the parts ship? I emailed them today when we got back to town. Being Christmas I'm no expecting a response until later this week. so I just thought I would ask. jim

That’s new news to me..

I ordered from before. Large orders
And it all went straight to my USA box.
And fast. And billed immediately.

I did have to do one return and that took a couple weeks to get the funds back..

What did u get??

And when I called customer service was

Used theM once, they were overpriced and took forever to ship. There are so many other sellers on fleabay with good stuff and many NOS stuff as well. Ground up are legends in their own mind. NDP, Summit, Jegs, Fleabay all pretty good, Chuck hamburger meat is the only Ground up Ill ever give my $$$ too.

I ordered a pair of vertical rear window trim on the 15th of this month and received them the 20th. Unless your order is backordered, I would guess something went wrong with your order.

I wished it was a long style crank pulley, I think in have three or four of those. I ordered a single groove short pulley which I know I have some where. Jim

I bought a LOT of parts from them, over 2-3K and last time I had a problem the girl that answered the phone and laughed "And you bought another one from us!" that was the LAST time they get any of my $, I did receive the parts I ordered though, they just didn't fit

Crank and water pump pulley. Actually try your Chevy dealer. I bought both mine new at local Chevy dealer for my 454 10 years ago. They may still be able to get that part if the numbers are the same for the 396 vs 454.

GU got a ton of my money, but their customer service sucks. If something was on back order, they wouldn't call or email me. They would just get around to send the other stuff (usually delayed while they tried to figure out where the back ordered part was, only to learn they didn't have it) and surprise me when I got my partial order.

I rarely order from GU and OPGI and only if they have something no one else has. Just too dang expensive. Both take forever just to get the part shipped out of the warehouse.
Thats why NPD gets 85% of my business. Two days or less for delivery, parts are usually in stock and you know before ordering if they're not.

I should edit my typo, I meant NPD not NDP duh on me. National Parts Depot for those of you guys that may be newbies or just starting out in the hobby. I hate it when I get into a chat room or things like this where everyone is talking in almost a secret code with all the abbreviations of things, I get so lost if I am new and have to spend half the day just looking up those shorthand/abbreviations to catch up.

and NPD has always been great to buy from IMO, and a nice road trip for me to Ocala when I have a need for something that amounts to something more than a small order, and my wife likes riding shotgun :thumbsup:

I have bought thousands of dollars of parts from them in the past few years. Close to me, ships quick if in stock. yes if backordered you have no idea if its coming or not. No updates. might show up anytime. I am also done with them. Same with my friend(spends thousands) and my brother(spent plenty last couple years). Several chrome parts had to be returned/exchanged. Poor quality. If the parts are driver quality or less the catalog should say that. The final straw was when my brother ordered a complete exhaust for 69 Camaro and was dropped shipped from D & R classics. Turns out D & R's price was $100 less. Called Ground UP and basically said we should have bought it from D & R . Done .
