Good afternoon, ex 68 Chevelle owner currently driving a 65 Skylark GS here to gain ideas and knowledge to help me keep up with current tech and trends (I cant leave well enough alone). I have this vision in my head of taking the best of all the GM divisions A body platforms and melding them into one entity not sure if it would end up being Frankenstein or a beautiful unicorn.

Hmmm..... that's an interesting idea you have there. At least it sounds like it on the surface. But so I understand your idea with a little more clarity, how about spelling it out? For instance: when you say "the best" can you specify what the type of "best" you're thinking about, or focusing on? Do you mean the best as far as high performance parts go? That's what I'm guessing that you mean, but I don't want to make the assumption that your focus of the best has to do with highest HP or highest performance. Some guys might prefer to focus on what they believe to be the "best" as far as luxury, or other types of rare options which might not have anything to do with horsepower.

sorry for the 2 pics.anyway these are gto roof rail dome/map lights.pretty rare option.i never liked the light the factory dome light gave off at night especially with black interior.my moms 66 gto had em and i a;ways liked em so searched and found a pair,best thing is the roof structure is already made for em so it was an easy install.

 

about the only other things i can think of that i wouldn't mind adding is a pontiac trunk reel light,and the cardboard trunk panels.
