Hi guys,

I am looking for replacement side glass for my '68 Convertible. My current glass seems to be clear but I understand that there is a tinted one. What tint does it have (brown, green)? Is it dark tint? Any pictures?

Was all the glass tinted, windshield, side and back, or some of it?

The tinted glass varied back then. My wife and I had a 72 Lemans that had a tinted W/S only, the rest was clear and the car had A/C too. It was a common misconception that A/C cars had all the glass tinted. It is a shade of green and Yes, it can be found today. I think the company name is now Pilkington Glass, you might google it if someone doesn't pop in with a link or a supplier near you.

I looked for clear glass for my 68 conv. but could only find the tinted glass new. If you find somebody selling the clear, please post. thanks Mark
