You'd think, but vinyl is vinyl and still gets hot.
But it isn't like black that's for sure. My old '72 Nova was my daily for years and had a black vinyl interior with a black plastic steering wheel. I learned real quick to never wear shorts when the car had to sit outside in the Summer sun. Then came sunshades and a sheepskin seat cover.

I would never drive any distance on the reproduction Firestones from Coker. They are junk. Look nice, but are junk to drive on.

Beautiful Chevelle! Gotta love a 327, especially the L79! Love the 327 fender emblems too! I was gonna put those on my ‘55 Bel Air after pulling the “6” and implanting a new 327 from Chevy, however I chose to go “stealth” instead! 🤣. I will always love 327’s. Great color combo as well! Enjoy the show! 👍
