Hello all, I have been stalking this site for a while and posting here and there but I am finally getting down and dirty and starting to work on my ride.
I have a 70 Malibu, 307 2-speed powerglide tranny. I got it when I was 14 (28 now) and I am the second owner. It has 90K miles and is all original, minus rims and radio. It spent the last five years in my parents back yard and after 41 years it needs some TLC. I have ALWAYS wanted to beef if up and now is the time.
I have basically no mechanical or body work experience but want to learn and do as much of this as I can on my own. I am looking at new engine, tranmission, rear end, suspension, brakes, some rust fixing and paint. Interior needs some work but is relatively good and I wont do much with that.
This board has already helped me several times and I am looking forward to drawing from the knowledge on this board to get my Bu back on the street.
