I have seen plenty of technically challenged things on TV shows,
But I just felt compelled to say This is the Worst I have seen.

Vega runs 10.53 with a 496 and nitrous. They say they need to just change the nitrous jets....and like magic....8.70's

They claim major safety improvements are needed so they replace the factory disc brakes for single piston aerospace brakes with drilled rotors and tell the customer they put disc brakes on it.

Find a GNX in a storage unit and the owner takes 15k for it. The gnx won't turn over, so they change out the gas tank and now it turns over and starts and magically the disintegrated bumper fillers are now perfect.

Show is an insult .... Rant over

Tom you missed the one where they did the Chevelle SS in pristine condition with the ugliest stripes you will ever see. Of course they "fixed" those as well. Thing is you could see they had applied wrap over the original stripes only to pull it off prior to the reveal. When I posted that on the Fat and Furious facebook page it was immediately deleted by them.

Biggest piece of garbage of a show I have ever seen. Also the most blatantly fake

Just one more reminder of why we shut our satellite TV down a few years ago. When I do happen to see a TV show at someone's place, the shows are even more idiotic than I remembered. I can get what I need, when I need it, right here on the internet. You can get how too videos on just about anything on Youtube and see it done step by step by someone who actually knows what they are doing.

Yet another typical buy it and fix it type show that is no where near the ballpark of being real. It amazes me there are people out there that are that stupid to buy into crap like that actually being real. But then, it doesnt really supprise me either.

I watched a couple episodes, I couldn't hardly make it through. On another note, I was watching a rerun of The A Team this morning and I had a thought. What happened to TV? I know it is so much easier for producers to just 'film it and cut it' with inexperienced actors and all that jazz so someone can have their 15 minutes of fame. While I was watching The A Team I was thinking of the budget that had to have went on for these shows just for the stunts.......... even Hollywood doesn't have REAL stunts anymore!!
