My first time at Carlisle, and even though the weather was less than perfect and some vendors had already left on Saturday it was awesome. Less than 25% of the vendors were there on Sunday. I will admit that I was a little overwhelmed at first, even though I heard that it was huge I wasn't prepared for all of the goodies....sensory overload.

I did end up finding everything that I was looking for: stage 2 handling kit from UMI (the guys were great and the display was very cool), 4 wheel disc brake kit, and some sheet metal and body bushings from Ausley's. The guys at Ausley's were very helpful and they had a ton of stuff. It's going to be a busy winter.

Looking forward to going back next spring!

We got there on Friday afternoon, and left at about noon on Saturday. Found a few items for the 74, but not much. Found a few Pinto parts too, good time...

BTW: Its not Carlisle without rain!!

Great pics, Jim. I looked for you on Friday, but did not see you. Have to agree that the best day is Friday. I left home at 0230 and was at gate one by 0530. It's a 200 miles one way trip for me.
How many of you noticed the sky high prices of metal signs? Those Coca Cola ones are extremely expensive. The cheapest one I saw was 4"X18" for $268.00. The large Texaco one was a cool $4,000.00. The rustier they were the more they cost. it seem these signs are better deal than NOS parts when it comes to flip them.
Also notice more and more gas pumps were being bought.
Carlisle for firsttmer can be very overwhelming. I took a friend there for the first time and all he kept saying was, "It's incredible the junk people haul here. Taking it it back home is a nightmare." I had to agree I struggle with one engine and these people brign 5,6,7 of them.
