So I am in the process of ls swapping my 69 chevelle and had a question.

I an wondering if anyone has used rivnuts in the place of standard nuts? If so how well have they worked?

I was able to remove the mounts without removing the lower control arms but have no desire to fight with trying to reinstall them and figure rivnuts might work. I wanted to before I committed to see if anyone had any experience with doing it.

Really my main concern with using them is whether they might be pulled out by the engine torque. The Holley brackets I have use four bolts.

My opinion: Great hardware for console brackets and the like. NO WAY I'm using those in place of standard nuts on the frame, especially the motor mounts. They will pull right out of there, and it won't take long.
That is why I put it out their I don't really trust rivnuts to hold that much load but I figured I would see what other thought. I think I'm gana use the advice I have seen on a few other threads and try reversing the hardware from the factory position to make it easier.
