I'm looking at a freinds 72 SS 454 Chevelle convertible the engine code that I'm finding is CF or GF, I can't find it in any of my books. Does anyone have any info on what engine this could be. It is a big block engine,Could this be a truck engine & have been decked a little & had the 1st letter removed? Please check & see if there is anything ending in CF or GF in truck engines.
