Could someone tell me if they are baffled at all or do they flow straight through? Why do I need to know?

I dropped a deep well 9/16" socket down my one primary tube in my header and tried all I could to get it out and it didn't happen. Everything is welded(dang it) from the Scavenger Collector to the H-pipe with my first access being right after the H-pipe and then the mufflers!

Fired it up tonight after bolting the header back on and wound her up a few times. Initially heard the socket bouncing back through the pipes but now I'm not sure where it's at but would like to get the bugger out. I think my Ultraflows are offset/offset as the inlet goes in on one side of the muffler and the outlet comes out the opposite side and then into the tailpipe. Just wondering if it got hung up in the muffler.

Looking back I should have unhooked the mufflers and then tried to blow it out but hindsight is 20/20 and this is where I'm at.

I'm pretty sure they flow straight through. Anyway unbolt the muffler and see if you can get it out now.

No baffles for sure. I dont think that socket will make it up and over the rear end.......maybe if your running turn downs after the mufflers........

Didn't make it up and over the rearend through the tailpipe but is sitting in the muffler. Guess if I want it out I'll have to unhook the tailpipe and reach in and get it. Thanks for the info guys because at least I know I should be able to get to it without too much trouble.

You should try and fish out the socket by using a long magnet. The flexible magnets work great around the workshop for picking up hard to reach bolts and other pieces of metal.
