I got a set of Dynomax Ceramic headers from their warrenty department to replace a old set of Blackjacks. The problem is they won't fit my '67 BB and they don't offer any that do. I'm looking at Hooker Ceramics. I've read somewhere here that Hookers have some clerance problems in the '67's. Anyone have any suggestions for ceramic coated headers for a '67 BB. Oh, if anyone's interested in buying some headers here's the link. Thanks.

I recently spoke with the Tech guys at Hooker regarding their ceramic coated headers. When I asked if they are coated inside he said "well...as far down as we can spray..." That was not the answer I was looking for. Same at Hedman...outside only. Don't settle for anything less than coating inside AND out.

Check out JetHot coatings. They are now selling name brand headers (Hooker,Hedman etc.)already coated and they offer a very good warranty. Email or call them and they send you a package in the mail with everything you ever wanted to know about ceramic coating, including color options.

IMO, the best way to do it is to buy the headers uncoated, put them on and make any "adjustments" needed, then pull them back off and send them Airborn or Jet Hot and have them coat them. it is a PITA and time consuming but ALOT of headers do not fit without modifying at least a little bit for each individual application. it would be a shame to have to clearance a header tube that was already coated, probably would void any warranty there might be also. just something to think about. ;)
