I have spoke with a gent form Katech Engines here in Michigan. I am interested in doing a dyno tune on my mild street motor and am wondering if spending up to $400 for dyno time plus parts would be worth it. I already have a rebuild kit for the carb if needed and the tuning kit from Edelbrock, so I have spent that already.
My engine is a stock rebuilt bottom end GenV 454, stock heads done with a 3 angle valve job, Comp Cams XE268 and kit, Air Gap manifold and an 800 Edelbrock RPM carb. The car runs pretty strong but I think it still needs a tuning expert, just wondering if you guys think it will be worth any significat gains. I dont have a timing tape on the car nor a dial back light and my carb tuning skills suck to say the least.
I just don't want to line up to spend that kind of money for 10 rwhp!!!
