I just got replacement lower detent roller assembies1969 hinges(this is the whole shaft with the detent). I have everything together except the cam is not centered on the detent. It's sitting below the roller, almost like the shaft is too long, causing the cam to be offcenter. What should I do?
1.) Bend the cam to get it aligned to the center?
or
2.) Bend the entire hinge to bring the cam assemly back into the center?
Not sure what is the best choice. It's possible that the new shafts are taller than the older ones.
