Does Your Spouse Move Your Stuff

Quite often I will go to use something only to find it is no longer where I placed it. This forces me to go through a 45 minute search for the item which many times fails to produce it.

At this point I am very frustrated. I have even called my wife at work or when she was out of town to ask where she moved my stuff.
Fortunately she never really performs this relocation service in the garage which I keep somewhat organized but I know where everything is in the garage.

It drives me crazy.

My wife moves my stuff ALL the time inside the house, garage she barely goes into, she called me at work a cpl days ago wanting to know where I put a bottle of Peppermint bug spray (that she ordered on Amazon) I said I didn't have a clue where it was, she texted later that she found it, Right where she had put it

I can't blame my wife but I swear someone or something is moving things around my garage. For about 6 weeks I couldn't find the fan for my 70 Pontiac 400. Now I can't find a bag with tie downs. I'm also convinced there is a portal between a parallel universe where my 7/16 sockets go. In that universe I'm posting on the Chevelle board asking if anyone else mysteriously finds 7/16 sockets in their garage.

My ex was pretty good about touching my things. I had two sacred places, the garage and my den. If something I set down in the house got moved, it was a good bet she set it in my den. She never touched my tools because I set her up with her own tool box.

She was even fair about laundry cash. If money was found in the was found in the washer or dryer, since she had no idea who's it was, she would then split it between her and me.

She doesn't move my stuff much, but she uses my tools for things that she shouldn't. Case in point, I have a few pairs of wire cutters that I only use for soft copper wire that I've had since my aircraft avionics days. She decided to grab the smaller snap-on set and cut bailing wire with them, when those didn't work she kept moving up in sizes until she found a set that worked destroying the jaws of all of them.

My wife will move stuff around at times in the house and shed only never in the garage. Uses my tools she is handy fixing things and hanging stuff on the walls. Sometimes it's funny I move something around and I can't find it I blame her, then come to find out it was me who moved it all along. She fisty but we get along 44 years and counting. Got to love them.

Yes, all the time. Lost some hex keys for months after assembling something for her. She shoved them in a basket where I had no idea to look.

I keep my cordless battery chargers and spray paint in the panty because its convenient and temperature stable. Last week, she moved my charger to the floor. I immediately corrected that.

Fun game.
