After left being stranded on the road for a second time in as many years - due to a failed ignition control module, I am seriously considering switching back to the tried and tested Accel dual point distributor with perhaps an MSD 6AL box. Thoughts or other ideas? THX.
Ditching my HEI ignition??? Thoughts?

I switched to a MSD smallbody ready to run (no outside box) 3 years ago after my last HEI module died. I've got nearly 8k miles on it no issues at all. Plus it has a built in rev limiter, and the mechanical advance curve is adjustable with the bushings included... All said its a much better unit than a stock HEI.

That does look cool! If i were in the market again i would give that real consideration!This seems cool, but I haven't used one and don't really know anything about them. Just seems pretty cool
