I must say..these plates flat out work.Everything went smooth as silk and my alignment issues are a thing of the past.

Curious as to how hard the guide plates are taxed by the pushrods.Dart made no mention of tack welding the joint and I see no need to do so.Rocker studs and pinch nut and bolt torqued to Dart specs.

I spun the bbc countless revolutions while observing the pinch points..alls well.Call it a day and button it up with no fear of movement, like a one piece guide?
 
No need to tack weld. Tighten adjusting bolt and rocker studs, they don't move after that. Dart sends their heads out with those Comp guide plates, that are supposed to be correct for the geometry of the Dart heads, too many variables comes into play, seems most end up using the adjustable guide plates.
