My 72 ElCamino is a SS clone, has all the right aftermarket pieces for air filter, hood etc. Airfilter casing has this flange on it that lays out flat and a rubber seal attaches???? I have tried for the life of me to figure out how it attaches. I see them in pics of other cars and the thinner edge is up and I am 99% certain I have the correct side out but what keeps it on?
