Hello I just register on the site, haveing never posted anything on-line before please excuse my lack of style. I joined this site because I learned to drive in a 1969 El Camino and in a fit of "mid life" I just purchased another one. It is a Butternut Yellow malibu which has all the cosmetics of an SS but a 350. Now I would rather have a true SS but if you have to have a clone it should be correct. Is there a good overview anywhere of what is invloved in changing from a small block to a big block. I can turn a wrench and I'm not afraid to try just about anything but I would rather know what I'm getting into before I start. P.S. I do have AC, Power brakes and steering. Thanks in advance for any advice.
