Hello all. I am in the process of installing Aldan American single adjustable coilovers on my 72 Chevelle that has a BBC. I currently have POL upper and lower tubular control arms with Hotchkis 2" from coil springs and Hotchkis fox shocks. I have installed the passenger side coiler so far and for some reason the sway bar end link distance is now so close I can not reinstall the end link. The whole front end is up in the air on jack stands. Does anyone know why this may be happening? Is it because I haven't put any compression on the spring yet? The instructions don't say to do that until after you have put the suspension back together. I feel like I may have the wrong size coilover shocks as the existing fox shocks were much longer. I have attached some pictures for reference. One picture is the passenger side with the coiler in and the other is the driver side with the existing setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
