Okay you Chevelle Jedi Masters...I have a cunundrum...I have a 1972 chevelle that was originally a small block A/C car. I have 2 inch drop spindles on it and have taken out all the A/C stuff. when I had the original 350 cast iron motor in it, the front stance was amazing...but I replaced the motor with a 500 hp 396 SMALL BLOCK with aluminum heads and headers etc. so it is lighter in the front and now rasied up on me after the swap...
so, can I cut the springs to get back my 1 inch drop, or should I get lowering springs...also, do A/C/ cars have bib block springs in them? would i be better to get factory small block springs, caut the ones I have, or buy 1 inch lowering springs. Also, do the springs have a flat end on them that I would have isues on cutting them and getting them clocked right? Or is it just a straight easy cut? please help...I need to drop the fron 1 inch, or maybe 1.5 inches...
Thanks Shawn
