I recently put headers on my 454/M22 car...I searched for the correct NEW location for the end of the clutch fork end to attach to & saw that most (if not everyone) was just using a hose clamp on the #7 header tube & attaching the spring to it.
I didn't like the looks of that so i did this...I bought a Roll bar "accessory clamp" which is 1 3/4 dia. & will be clamped to the #7 Header tube.

I then drilled a verticle hole in the 'accessory boss' in which the spring can attach to.
