top two pictures are from the factory. This Forum said it has Vinal top and burgundy.
after 50+ years the 1970 Bondo gives up the ghost. those spot welds are factory then they filled it in with 1970 Bondo
the drilled holes i have zero clue why or when. all sort of surprises in this build

i buffed all the Bondo out. and took 6 coats of 21st century Bondo do get it 95% complete. with sanding in between.
my painter will tell me my next step to finish this off before spray on primer. he already told me how to get this far. it will be shot where it sits in October when it cools down. same place we shot the 67.

the Bondo let water in - pitting in the metal. other side was letting loose too.

welded the holes in both fenders and applied 21st century Bondo on them also - no pics of them here
the off color its etch primer over the bare metal - i am offshore now

i found it interesting in that the old Bondo will deteriorate over time. this was thick in those areas which did not help.

My 80 Camaro has lead in those roof spots, now the paint is starting to come off in those areas. Guess we used the wrong primer back then.
