Change to SS Dash and floor shifter won't turn over

Just use a paper clip or something and connect the purple and purple/white stripe wires together. (I believe that's the colors, they will both be at the switch) And MAKE SURE its IN PARK before trying to start.

Also be sure to tape it up, that point will be +12VDC when key is in START position.

Another point, when you 'extended' the harness from the dash to the console, I assume this included connecting to the existing purple wires on the original switch???
