Ok I'm sitting here with a check in hand for some seats for the Chevelle. Pro car seats & brackets. Then on the other hand. My 350 would like to have a nice new alum manifold & new Holly carb. Plus a new gas tank. Also new front shocks. So what would you do. I mean the car runs fine now. But ya gotta have something new!! This $$$$$$ is burning a hole in my pocket. Not sure which way to go. I have a bench seat in the car now. And sure would love to have a set of Buckets. So now what?????????

I'd spend it on the mechanicals first. Get all that up to date then spend it on bucket seats. The car isn't good but for one thing if isn't running, but has nice seats;)

Got Ya. Ha ha ha ha. No she never looks here. She's happy when I'm on here. That way she can watch her LIFETIME T.V. Womens channel.
And then blame you for all of life's problems. Thats what my wife learns from that channel

Procar Ralley seats? Get them so I can see how comfortable they are before ordering mine. ;) ...of course when I do get mine, my factory buckets will be for sale.

I put some seats from PepBoys in mine and haven't turned back. They aren't the most comfortable seats in the world, but they hold my big butt in and down in the seat. They are buckets by the way and I bolted them right to the floor. The sliders were included with the seats. They recline and they move back and forth with ease. Ok, I have to turn a knob to recline, but that's ok with me. The money I saved, I used elsewhere for the car.

I think you should save that money and fly back down to AZ again. When you went down there last month, it was 80deg up here. You came back and it snowed. Now its snowing again.

Nah, joking. I have to agree with the mechanicals. Unless the seat is all beat and torn to hell. I would fix all those mechanical parts first.:)

I'd go with the shocks and gas tank, I learned in the last year that the needed tech stuff is more important then the inside of the car.....my engine looks great, my breaks were just redone, my seats are trash and my body def needs some paint.....

reminds me of an old saying a guy told me about his harley...

Chrome won't get you home, But as much as I've got on my bike it damn well better.

Hey Mike: Yeah I've been there with the Harley. My 1st new one. After riding a 1980 low rider for a yr. I went to bike week in Daytona. Took a Dresser for a ride with my wife. We never got out of the lot. When she leaned up on me and said. We should get one of these. Holy Crap. I was looking for a phone to call my dealer back home. 3 weeks later a brand new red dresser in my garage 1988. I couldn't put enough chrome on it. By the time I bought my 8th one. I took everything off of it. Tour pac big a** seat bag gaurds . I think I lost 54 lbs of crap oof that bike then had the motor re worked. But I was a firm beleiver in chrome won't get you home. Only chrome was on the motor. And it ran like a bat out of hell. Yeah I thinking the new shocks, gas tank, carb & manifold. And maybe some new front lower springs. I save for the seats. Thanks for the in put Mike. Rick
